Estuaries and surrounding wetlands are where rivers meet the sea, saltwater mixes with freshwater. Despite being two different elements, the runoffs of water sustain an entire ecosystem that allow life to exist. 

And it's the same with that soul connection- a fusion of two past/present lives that interflows into several stories.
